Miraculously, all occupants of the involved vehicles managed to evacuate before the petrol ignited, sparing lives from harm. Thankfully, there have been no reported injuries or casualties.

Efforts are underway to clear the wreckage, with the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) actively involved in the process. Meanwhile, residents along Moshood Abiola Way, from Sifax down to Ijora Underbridge to Apapa, are advised to refrain from using open flames temporarily.

A public announcement titled "Urgent Public Safety Measure" emphasizes the need for caution, as some of the spilled product has entered drainages and is approaching nearby communities. Residents are also cautioned against using streams and tributaries of rivers for any form of contact with water.
